Previous Projects undertaken include

Interim Management - carried out a wide range of consultancy assignments, including several for a major Dutch based (Japanese owned) engineering company selling safety systems to the oil & gas industries. The projects involved:

  • Company disposal / organising alliances & business restructuring in the United States and the United Kingdom.
  • Setting up and managing businesses in the Far East, USA and UK. Tasks included: budget/business planning, lease negotiation, designing & organising the set up of an office / workshop complex, recruiting senior staff, selecting and organising the installation of all PC & office equipment, defining procedures for Terms & Conditions of Employment, QA procedures, staff appraisals, setting up a pension scheme, preparing payroll & monthly accounts.

Financial Controller / Company Secretary - Microlife undertakes the role of Financial Controller / Company Secretary and for over 6 years acted for a subsidiary of a publicly quoted company selling Fire Safety Equipment to the Offshore Oil & Gas Industry. 

Government Projects 

  • Consultant on the successful BugBuster millennium project accrediting training organisations and visiting 70% of those accredited to ensure they were delivering what had been accredited.
  • Developed an audit plan for monitoring training organisations running Modern Apprenticeship and NVQ schemes and audited training providers using the material developed.
